Thirteen images of plants that were hand drawn or photographed and then digitally rendered were laser etched on clear Plexiglas (each 17.5 cm x 16.5 cm) .
Each is suspended from a framework of olive branches using fishing line.
A box with thirteen compartments is placed to the side.
Each compartment contains cards on which one of the images is printed.
Viewers are invited through signage to:
• Think of a question.
• Look at the suspended images.
• Select an image to which you respond and characterizes your question. (Use your intuition!)
• Pick a card that corresponds to the image.
• An answer to your question is on the reverse side. Each answer is based upon a Socratic paradox or a reworking of Delphic maxims such as:

• Embrace friendship / Chrysanthemum
• Do not put your trust in chance. / Daisy
• Share the load of the unfortunate/ Poppies

• I do not know, I do not think I know. / Caper flowers
• Make your own nature, not the advice of others, your guide in life. / Clover
• Overconfidence ends in downfall. / Pansies
• Examine your options. / Sunflower
• Act decisively / Olives
• Listen and observe. / Anise
