Agra, India, March
Mausoleum of Souls
Agra is a town perhaps unequaled in India for outstanding monuments – it has four of which two, the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort, have the status of being UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Another great monument in a carefully tended huge park is the tomb of Akbar the Great; the third Moghul emperor and the grandfather of the builder of the Taj Mahal.
After we arrived we were caught in a great downpour and witnessed the still tremendous efficiency of Moghul water coursing.
